The Black Country Club I—Chicago, Illinois

Situated in the suburbs of Chicago, this space concept was inspired by the Chicago based, Robert’s Show Club, which was owned by our client’s father during the 1940’s. With a nod to Shady Rest, this home was designed to visually invoke the traditional, social, country club atmosphere. Defined by strong, geometric and botanical patterns and colors found throughout the idyllic landscape of Chicago’s Olympia Fields, The JAX created a gathering space that pays homage to Herman Roberts’ continued legacy.
